The piano is such a beautiful instrument that it's quite a shame that most people who take lessons only get as far as learning Chopsticks. Our approach to teaching piano starts with what your goals are. If you envision yourself playing classical music in an orchestra someday, well, there are certain things you have to know and a certain way you have to go about it.
But that's not the only path available. You might want to play in a band or play at church. You might even not want to play anywhere and would just like to sit at the piano that collects dust in your house and learn how to play something you like on it.
The thing about the piano is that you can play anything on it — rock, pop, country, bluegrass and even, the latest pop hits. You can sing with your playing or use the keys to make cool synthesizer loops.
At the end of the day, our piano lessons focus on the tools you need to play what you want to play and at what pace you want to learn. We teach kids and adult piano lessons in Minneapolis, near St. Paul, but also give online lessons through Zoom.
Especially give us a call if you are an adult beginner or are a musician that's trying to switch to piano from another instrument, such as guitar.
